Nuno Lobo Antunes

Nuno Lobo Antunes graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon.
He was a Hospital Assistant of Pediatrics and Coordinator of the Neuropediatrics Unit of Hospital de Santa Maria, Lisbon. He was Member of the Commission of Neurology of the "Children Oncology Group". He was a consultant in Pediatric Neurology for the Department of Neurology and Pediatrics at Memorial Hospital for Cancer and Allied Diseases and Presbyterian Hospital in New York.
He was also Assistant Professor of Neurology and Pediatrics at Cornell University Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College.

He is currently Medical Director and Coordinator of the Neurodevelopment and Neurology areas of CADIn, Neuropediatrics Consultant of the Fernando da Fonseca Hospital Pediatric Service and Pediatric Neurology Consultant of the IPO in Lisbon.
Member of the American Academy of Neurology, Child Neurology Society, Children Cancer Group Tri-State Pediatric Neurology Society, Society for Neurology, Portuguese Society of Pediatrics, Portuguese Society of Neurology and the Ibero-American Academy of Pediatric Neurology.

Author of the best seller "I'm Sorry", "Misunderstood", "Life in Me", "In the Name of the Father" and "Stronger than Me".

Nuno Lobo Antunes

Nuno Lobo Antunes, born on May 10th, 1954, is a neurologist with a degree in Medicine by the University of Lisbon.
He did part of his training in the USA at Columbia and Cornnell University, and was Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Neurology at the latter.
He developed research with António Damásio, and at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
He has been Clinical Director of CADIn for 10 years, and is currently director of the PIN-Progressive Child Development Center, which he founded.
He has devoted the last years to intervention in the areas of development and behavior of children and adolescents, about which he published the books "Mal Entendidos" and "Mais Forte do que Eu" the latter in collaboration with Professor Ana Rodrigues.
In other areas he was chairman of the board of directors of the Make-a-Wish Foundation, and author of the best-sellers "Sinto Muito", "Vida em Mim" and "Em Nome do Pai" and recently, in late 2018, published the book "Sentidos" along with his clinical team, .
He was awarded the Pfizer Young Investigator and Professional of the Year awards by the organization "Rotários".
He has been a Keynote Speaker on numerous occasions in Portugal and abroad.

Mercedes Prieto Martinez

Dance Teacher, PhD in Education at the University of Évora. She was a lecturer at Escola Superior de Educação de Beja, teaching the curricular unit Body and Dramatic Expression, has extensive experience in teacher training in several higher education institutions and has collaborated in  educational and artistic projects. She has many conferences and workshops, through the course of the last years, in the scope of interdisciplinary approaches, particularly between Dance and Mathematics.
